I'm really sick of sports doing these throw back uniforms. They look terrible in HD and were changed for a reason...they were really ugly.

It was a cute idea for a moment but it's just gotten really old.

I have a particular dislike for the current 'retro' fashion that's circulating at least in the UK, because the clothes remind me of when my parents' business went under and a good portion of my clothes were hand-me-downs and from thrift shops, and the current 'retro' looks just like them.

I agree with the OP. The Packers' throwback uniforms are bad...but not nearly as bad as the Steelers' "bumblebee" uniforms.

Sports teams occasionally wear the uniforms as designed in the 1960's/70's or if it's baseball from an even earlier era.

Don't waste all your effort bitching about throwbacks.... Save some for the Color Rush uniforms that are bound to give people migraines or cause seizures.

The throwbacks, the alternate road uniforms, the "Friday" uniforms in baseball, batting practice jerseys, the color rush and all the other eyesores exist for one and only one reason: to move merchandise. They're not designed to look good or be appealing, when the hardcore idiot fans already own a home jersey and a road jersey you need something new and different to sell them. They're not going away until they stop selling and as long as the morons keep buying them the leagues will keep inventing new ones. We're probably not too far away from the day when an NFL team has 16 new uniforms every season, 8 unique road and 8 unique home designs.

I actually like them, kind of makes it a fun game to watch. The color rush uniforms I'm not too big on.

I decided to take a look on the nfl shop at some 49ers throwback jerseys and they're all pretty plain, so that's good. But good lord those things are pricey! The cheapest was $99, the most expensive is a TO Jersey for $299, with Montana just behind at $294 (Although the Montana is black and actually looks pretty dope). That's just crazy.

I like the Bees. It brings that lovable sense of criminal intent to the game. A face of intimidation. Something the Steelers have always been known for.
