Just started using ICQ and have a few questions

ICQ seems like a lot of fun so far, but it also looks like it has a ton of features. How can I remove the names listed under "not in list?" Any other tips for an ICQ newbie?

BTW, sharyextreme has been down for over an hour. Anybody know what's going on?

"not in list" comes from people that message you that werent on your list before. you can delete individuals by RIGHT CLICK -> DELETE. its probably default left click if you just installed ICQ. i hate that so i change it back to right click.

yes ICQ does have a lot of extras that are pretty much useless to the average individual. you can get rid of the banner ads though. thats always a plus. check that out here.
