Last night, there was about a foot of snow in our field. Today, it didn't rain... it POURED. Our creek sounded like Niagara Falls off in the distance. When we left for Rochester around 3 o'clock this afternoon, it was 50 degrees and there was no snow left. On the way back home, (70 mile trip), at least 25-30 miles of that trip was on a sheet of ice. There were white-out conditions from the blowing snow in a couple of areas; traffic (me and the car in front of me) was crawling along at about 15 mph for a long time. My wife freaked out when I finally passed that car.
I'm SOOooooo thankful that the temperatures dropped to the upper 20's. The beer and pop/soda are on the porch until our Christmas party on Tuesday. Gotta keep them cold!
