Please tell me it gets better? I got it dirt cheap for the 360. Been holding off as I have been too busy at work to get this.

Yes, I am only on chapter 2 but IMO the graphics are very weak and the story so far is meh at best. Does it improve? I have been a fan since MP1 and 2 but 3 so far is not doing it for me.
 
I got it last week for PC. The graphics are awesome on PC.
I like the game so far. I am in Ch.11.
The storyline is annoying, but it's a fun game.
 
The story is great...great plot twist but you have to keep playing to get to that point. It will surprise you.
 
Keep at it OP. Finish chapter 2. If you still don't like it, quit. The game doesn't change (I am into chapter 5 now and it's the same so far).

That said I thought the graphics on 360 were extremely good, certainly they are in chapter 5 with the jungle.

I can understand why some may dislike the game. I have never, ever played a game so much like playing a movie. The cut scenes are very long and there are a lot of them. I have also rarely played a game with such watchable ones, though. The voice acting is good, and the writing is pretty good, too. Lines like "I moved toward the sounds of life, snuffing it out as I went" make me laugh. Also it's rare you play a game and the main character considers himself a piece of sh*t.
 
Still playing through, holy crap I killed a LOT of people in Chapter 5.

I hope Max's Latino side kick doesn't die.
 
Finished this morning. I played the entire thing on hard difficulty, which was a challenge but enjoyable. That is until the final mission. The part where being swarmed by guys and then knocked out of cover by grenades was absolutely not enjoyable and difficult as hell. Ended up lowering the difficulty, a personal failing on my part.

A bug that was completely absent during the game popped up 2-3 times on the final mission only. I'd get "stuck" in cover and unable to come out.
