I got this 4 piece kit and this spoiler from NOPI. It came out to $794.35 after shipping.

This is my car now.

Here is a miata with the body kit I bought.

Here is another in silver. I love silver.......

I still have to get them painted and I'll probably just get my whole car repainted since it needs it anyway. Any idea how much that would cost? Also would it be possible to paint my car silver or would there be just too much red to get rid of?

I think it looks a lot nicer than it does stock. I hate the stock look.... too girly. But I got the car as a gift so I can't complain.... just make changes. ;)

iloveme2, if you're going to have the color of your car changed, it's going to cost a lot, remember to do that w/ a nice result, will require more than just masking off molding and the like, you'll have to have a lot of stuff removed such as door panels so that no one would be able to tell you car was a different color before. If you're concerned about costs, I'd stick w/ the same color you have now, I hope this helps :)

Yeah, I figured as much. I only got $600 in the bank so it's probably gonna be a while before I can even get this kit put on. :(

I have a relative that does restoration work and it's going to be a lot more than $600 to have your car painted in a different color, sorry :( If it helps, I like the color of your car as I might be getting a truck next year in a similar color :)

congrats on the kit, i'm about to make a body kit purchase for my car pretty soon. 800$ is not a bad price, i wish it was that low for me.

just to get the kit painted would be in the neighborhood fo 6-800$ (front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts). You could also have them wetsand the rest of the car for an extra 2-300$ Repainting the entire car is a LOT of work. For my car, I was quoted 5k for the same color (they would strip off all the old paint and do everything except take out the engine). Most people i've talked with say around 3k.

I'd keep the wheels you have for now, get the kit put on, then later get other wheels. They're not bad but like BCYL said, they don't fit the car.

I suddenly feel better about spending $889 on an intake manifold and fuel system upgrades.

Count yourself lucky you have been ripped to shreds by the anti-rice crowd.

It actually doesn't look too bad - but it's still a Miata :D

So you wanted your Miata to look like a little girl's pretend viper?
