Its not all about speed. Not everyone wants to drive faster.

Same reason why you buy stuff for your pc that makes it look *better*. Aluminium cases hardly give any cooling advantages. Lighter to transport around though.

While not particularly fast, and rather uncomfortable for taller drivers, the Miata has the "fun factor" down pat. I wouldn't want to drive one on a long freeway drive, but a 2-lane blacktop twisties trip to the mountains or the beach is an absolute blast.

I was thinking about getting one of those carbon fiber hoods. Not cause I wanna be sporty but a
new hood and paint is like $700 and the carbon fiber is $450 shipped. Sure it is black and my car is white
but it can't look any worse than that dent that is there now...

It's what they don't do.....QUALITY. You get what you pay for with a paint job, spend little and you will just ruin your car.

BTW, iloveme2.....that is a hell of a lot of money to spend on rice!
