Just some words of advice...

If you're dozing off while you're driving and it isn't like just once or twice... but a lot. Pull over and take a nap or have someone pick you up. It doesn't matter if you're less than 2 miles from your destination.

I've played the "I'll just close my left eye now" game while driving tired. Never went as planed as I'd realize at some point both eyes were closed and open them only to find myself in the next lane over. Thankfully it was always at 5 or 6am, so there wasn't much traffic on the expressway.

Anyone with an ounce of common sense would know sleeping while driving does not mix.

Please note, medication and physical condition affect awareness of fatigue.
Recurrent falling asleep may mean a medical conditin like Sleep Apnea.

I plan things out pretty good, but one time I worked a really long shift (for me). We started at 7 PM, it was an hour drive from my house and I don't do well sleeping in the daylight. It was on an interstate highway job and we got off the road at 11 AM.
I got as far as the rest stop and caved in. I looked like hell when I stopped, and an hour later I was OK to drive but my eyes, the googles they did nothing! They looked like a couple of burning coals. I was glad I did not get stopped I would have had every drug test thrown at me. 😛

We knew you were dumb, but the fact that you're just learning this now poses some serious questions about your lack of mental facilities.

Just sayin...
