Stupid question, do you need a land line for DSL? I only use my cell phone.

DirectTV has the NFL Sunday Ticket. The games on NBC, FOX, ESPN, etc.. are enough for me, especially in HD.

Yes and no. You need to have the wiring, but depending on the provider they won't require you to sign up for 911 and all the other crap that goes along with using a phone line for voice calls.

It's up to the provider though.
