Just Set Up The Last Payment On My VISA Platinum Card!

Now I just have my MasterCard to pay off. Should be a bit easier, since I can focus all of the money on it that I was previously splitting between two payments. It has a somewhat lower interest-rate, as well. :)

Once I get this one paid down a bit, I am switching the balance to a card that gives airline miles and has a lower interest rate. :D

The funny thing is, it is taking an equal or lesser amount of time to just do it myself than it would to go through one of those "consumer credit counseling" groups. :p

Who did you get that through?

Traditional bank airline cc which unfortunately has an annual fee.

But when you're transferring $10k+ having 1.99% fixed is nice.

I've been bouncing a balance between numerous 0% balance transfer offers. Running out of credit cards to do that on. I think I could go with chase next time around, but hopefully I'll get rid of the balance before my current 0% runs out.

ah, zero balance...but at the same time I have very little established credit history. I the best offers I've seen is 8.9% apr. I currently get 12.99% from USAA.

I did that for a while but it's a PITA and not all offers are 12 months.
