Just scored 2 600Mhz Durons and a K6/2-450 for Crackrack3

Thanks... evidently some child thought it was UNFAIR - Maybe wants the government to protect him... LMAO

<< another 1.8 GHz for the Borg >>

those darn Borg, looks like its time to order some more photon torpedos.

DanC - After a few weeks of effort I have my six-pack of Duron 700s up and running. Key rates range from 3.21 to 3.57. Enjoy - 🙂

Okay DanC, I agree that's a great addition to the Borg herd, but.... puuhleeeaze don't tell me that you are going to put that K6-2 on the task of doing RC5.

Tell me and show to me that you have an open mind and the intelligence to realize that it should be on anything but RC5. Stick with D.Net if you like and do OGR, try some Gamma Flux if you like, but don't waste the electricity if you're going to put it to the task of pathetically slogging it's way through RC5 when it's almost an order of magnitude more efficient at the other two.

/me walks away quietly sobbing at the thought of all those poor RC5 hobbled K6-2's.... Oh... the humanity of it....

Hey Dan, have I made my point clear enough? 😉 Please give it some thought.

-Brian

Paulson - Not sure if your comment was for me or someone else. A Duron 700 has a keyrate of 2.5MKeys/sec.

Actually, I am a little disappointed. Had to learn the fact that not all Duron 700s can reach 1000 while running OGR 24/7. I had two that can run 24/7 OGR @ 1.0 GHZ. The other four range from 925 to 945 MHZ.

OGR creates a lil hotter processor compared to RC5, probably because of the FP use.

Thunder, I have a K6-2 400 at work and yes it is more efficient at OGR compared to RC5.

BTW, I just jumped to ninth place on Mika's OGR weekly chart from a position of 'bottom of the list'. 🙂

Dan,

You suck. Bwuahahahahahahaha!!!!!! Notice the guys on AOL. He's really in a position to tell someone they suck.😀

My stomach still hurts from laughing about that one.
It's almost as good as "anything" from Mr. Atheist.

"Pardon me sir, could you spare an extra chromosome?"

LMAO 😛

SHHHHH! someone might HEAR you... !

We don't want that now do we? 😉

BTW, You guys are doing a great job. Almost 100K blocks per day. Pretty impressive. 🙂

While I agree, I really don't know how you know that because D.net seems to never update the stats😛

Goodnight all!

P.S. I've had enough of GH recruiting for one night....The analogy of trying to shut off a dripping faucet (comparing RC5 threads to dripping faucets) has tired me out...🙁

🙂

Engineer, we all thank you for trying. Must take a lot of patience to be able to recruit on the GH forum.

Engineer, Those numbers are based on yesterday's stats. TA Cube's stats have been improving daily, so I predict they will hit 100-105,000 blocks daily pretty soon (excluding Dans you know what plan 😉).

🙂

SSP,

I was just being sarcastic...A characteristic I have picked up in GH and OT the last few minutes 😛

Notice the 😛 at the end of the sentence...🙂

Thunder - actually it's going into my Linux keyserver/stats server, to replace the K6-2/300 that's in it now...🙂
