Just saw V for Vendetta

That movie is AWESOME. The theatre I saw it in had poor speakers, I will definitely watch it again in a better theatre.

It was a lot like 1984, but it had enough differences to not be a ripoff. In fact, the only thing it really had in common was the government control, which wasn't a new idea for 1984 anyway. I highly recommend this movie.

To be honest, I rarely see a movie more than once in theatres, but this one definitely deserves a :thumbsup:

Yes, I'm well aware that it was based off of a graphic novel.

Tonight my university had a free preview showing, first come first serve. About 250 people packed the hall. Like I said, the theatre has poor quality speakers, but I'm not complaining; in fact, that just inspired me to want to see the movie in a real theatre

How big is a real IMAX?

We've got an Imax in grand rapids, but I think it's sub-standard.

Ever since it's conception, it's been a must-see for me...but having said that, I don't particularly expect anything revolutionary, just an entertaining film.

I want to read the graphic novel before I watch the movie -and the Watchmen as well. I've heard so many great things, yet I haven't seen/read it yet.

I got to see it last night and... it's definately worth all the hype it's getting.

There are a few parts that get a little tired, but assume those were mostly to keep in line with the comic.
