Can't believe the number of people who defend this movie all the time. Yeah it was Transformers, yeah it had the nostalgia factor (I loved transformers as a kid too), but it clearly undeniably sucked!

I have to believe it's nostalgia factor for anyone who liked Transformers. I rented it and stopped watching about half way through.

But there's nothing wrong with nostalgia. My friends and I grew up on Mortal Kombat and we really enjoyed the movie even though it surely sucked as well.

I grew up with the cartoon and thought the movie was just ok. Could/Should have been so much better. Too many stupid scenes that make no sense. Scenes of the battle in the city where bumblebee is hurt and Jazz and another autobot just sitting there in car form not joining the fight. WTF. They know of and battled Starscream but they never shot him down and the humans act like they got them all. Just lame stuff like that bugged me.

exactly. some people expect a cinematic masterpiece like godfather. it's transformers for christ's sake. shit is going to blow up when robots go at it.
