Just saw something very interesting during the Pistons/Pacers game just now....

I was just watching the game, and they were showing a replay of Williamson dunking off the pass from Hamilton after the jump ball. When they showed the cam above the net when Williamson was dunking, I noticed the web address that every team has on the top of the backboard.

Seems as if the Pistons have forgotten how to spell their team name......lol.

Proof. Luckily, I have TiVo, and was able to rewind and pause, then take a digital snapshot of the screen. I find this mildly amusing, and thought some of you might as well.

EDIT: Another pic (high-res 500+KB) from another angle.

hmm, either there used to be the correct spelling, and the next person forgot to put it on right (its sorta dark where the original P would have been) or you photoshopped it.

but that is still funny, it leads to an almost complete site

I assure you I did no photoshopping. I wouldn't know where to start even if I wanted to. I just think it's weird that something like that would be messed up.

EDIT: If you insist that I photoshopped it, I will gladly rewind again and take a picture from different angles.

Looks photoshopped to me... no offense.

*EDIT* Actually... it could be added on there by the network... similar to how they put start finish lines on the track when you see car racing on TV... or the first down marker in football games.

I can see how you would think this, but I am watching a standard def espn broadcast on a 52" HDTV. The compression is horrendous anyhow, and with my low-end RCA, the picture isn't that good.

I'm glad to see the Pistons win, I think they have a better chance against the Lakers than the Pacers...
