I think you can only get all the jokes in the movie, if you are fluent in cantonese. something can't be translated. I didn't find the mandarin version fun at all.

Stephen Chow's earlier works were hilarious as hell.

There was a movie (roughly translated was "Expert Pranker") all he did was doing pranks in the movie, very entertaining.

Chow Sing Chi.

Remember him from All For The Winner, God Of Gamblers (2 and 3), and Fight Back To School.

Shaolin Soccer was pretty good. I'm so behind in HK flicks. Go check out Fat Choi Spirit if you can find it. My mom is an MJ nut (she named me and my sister MJ Wong ugh), she loved it.

The Korean/Chinese/Japanese film mentioned earlier is Musa: The Warrior. If you're into that kind of stuff, Hero > Crouching Tiger.

Funniest part was at the end when they showed the bloopers and the guy called a girl to say I love you but the person replied "This is Tin" To which he replied, "Can you please tell your wife what I just told you?" and hung up. Muahah

also, anyone remember this....

Chow: "Welcome You Pok Kai??? But my Surname is not Lee"

the goalie looks similar to bruce lee with the yellow jumpsuit on. i dont think mirarmax ever release the movie in theater; i know stephen was at the 2001 san diego comic con promoting the movie; he is pretty skinny and has lots of white hair. he was pretty kewl guy in person.
