I'm not a fan of Dumb & Dumber. I'm also not a fan of Napolean Dynamite. Yeah, parts were funny but other parts were just painful to watch. I'll probably catch Nacho on DVD or TV.

Comedy is in the eye of the beholder. I loved D&D, and consider Kingpin, Airplane and Naked Gun to be pure comedy gold.

is Nacho Libre as much like Napolean Dynamite as I think it is? It looks too damned similar, but I guess that'd happen when its what.. the same director and same writers? yea I'll pass. this time its got Nickelodeon printed on the movie poster instead of MTV. But when both are the same company, does that change anything?

Ok I just watched it.

It's okay. The feel of the movie is a lot like napolean dynamite, and it has a lot of the same kind of humor. I wouldn't even compare this movie to dumb and dumber because the feel is so completely different. This movie was okay, i'm glad I saw it, but I can't watch it a thousand times like I can watch dumb and dumber.

hmmm. Inner debate between Cars and Nacho Libre. I'll make my date decide so I can get used to having a girlfriend again.

Revoked when I was caught carrying an expired card.

Here's the deal, if you like movies like Dumb and Dumber and The Waterboy than you will like Nacho Libre... if not than you'll hate it. It's that kind of comedy and some ppl just don't like it. I myself found it entertaining. The fight scenes were hilarious his freaking mexican accent cracks me up..

Overall I'd see it again.

I loved dumb and dumber...liked Waterboy.
really liked Napolean
LOVE Jack Black
but both me and my friend left Nacho Libre thinking we just wasted our money.

Jack tries to save it by giving plenty of hilariously delivered lines, but overall I thought the movie was pretty pathetic and def. just a rental, dont see it in the theater. It wasnt even getting tooo many laughs in a packed house tonight... a lot of the "jokes" were falling flat

It was hilarious. I thought it was going to be incredibly retarded, especially as soon as I saw the Nickelodeon logo.

Fortunately it was very funny. The entire audience was laughing hysterically

I really liked the Water Boy, did not like Dumb and Dumber that much, loved Napoleon Dynamine, hate Jack Black with every bone in my body, think the scene in the previews were he sings about the bug and the grass and his tears is funny, probably not going to see the movie.

It was hilarious. There were just some parts that were absolutely hilarious. Other parts were just awkward and made me cringe.

I went to go see this but the screen they were showing in smelled like someone lost control of their bowels. I overheard management saying that there was some accident in there earlier LOL. No wonder it took soooo long for them to clean it before letting people in.

I was the first to get in and got the best seat in the house. However, I couldn't stand the smell anymore so I left. Instead of asking for a refund, I saw X-MEN 3. I'll give it a few weeks before I go back to that theatre, you know, for it to air out and all.

It was ok at best. I saw approximately 10 people leave though throughout the movie though and not come back.

There were a few hilarious parts. Overall funny, but the story didn't flow very well. It was as if they ran out of ideas about halfway through.

As was The Waterboy

Ditto on both accounts.

I don't care much for Jack Black either. I think the only thing that Jack Black has ever done where I really laughed my butt off was that little Lord of the Rings spoof he did.

I saw this last weekend and really enjoyed it. I guess I can understand how someone might not get the whole feel of it, but I thought it was very funny.
