Now I'm a BIG Bond fan but you're stretching it a bit. Moonraker is OK, but the best part of the whole movie is the fact that the chick's name is Dr. Goodhead

A movie like that almost makes me appreciate The World Is Not Enough ....almost.

yeah I watched it too tonight. Very good movie, even though I don't think Roger Moore makes a good bond. Sean Connery is the one true Bond, with maybe Pierce Brosnan in second if he would act Bond as a secret/sleuthy spy instead of a guns blazing rambo kind of character.

If you want Bond that is true to the Ian Fleming's original idea, the Timothy Dalton is your man.

i was flipping through the channels when i saw that on tv tonight. all i could think was "when the hell did they make a james bond in space?" i ended up watching the simpsons instead.

Moonraker is the best bond movie ever, one of the first bond movies I saw. Some of the old bond movies were hard to watch because they were so outdated.


The timothy dalton ones were so lame......

I also like Sean Connery in the Bond movies.....and I think that Bronsan is ok as well.


Basically the movie just has to be good, doesn't really matter which actor is playing bond.

Moonraker was a great Bond movie in its time; you gotta love the Jaws character. The best Bond movie is Goldfinger and the hottest Bond babe was Ursula Andress (Honey Ryder) in Dr. No. Most of the Bond movies were great if you saw them at the time they were originally released. Moonraker is kind of like Tron; great movie in its time but now you kind of scratch your head and say "WTH?"

Speaking of Bond babe names, it doesn't get any better than Pussy Galore in Goldfinger.

No, that title belongs to On Her Majesty's Secret Service and poor George Lazenby who played Bond in it. It is true that Connery was the best onscreen Bond with Brosnan being a close second. However if you read the books you will find that Timothy Dalton was much MUCH closer to the Bond in Fleming's books.

WTF dude!!! OHMSS is the BEST Bond movie EVER!!!!! I love it to death...it's like an epic. I also have it on DVD.
