Of course I know there is a "trick" to the trick but for the life of me I can't figure some of them out. For instance, a popular trick of his is to have someone write something on a poster board and then whatever is written magically appears on a sheet of paper that has been sealed in a box or something. Another one he did was "magically" transport a member of the audience to some city in Thailand and having proof of the person actually being in the audience with a photograph. Anyone know how these tricks are done?
 
i want to know the secret to his greatest trick ever... how he got a hot model to date him?! and then the dumbass didnt even hyptonize her to make her his love slave for all of eternity.

I heard that a priest went to one of his show (not the current one, probably a few years ago) and he wouldn't start the show. A security guard then approached the priest, refunded his money and politely asked him to leave the show.
 
When I went a year ago, he did that same trick with transporting someone to Hawaii.

I've seen that actors are paid in advance and Copperfield biggest LIVE TV tricks like making the a plane dissappear involve ENTIRE audience participation of being paid.

I have no doubt this is how the trick is made.

My question is that when I went, he threw a beach ball into the audience for a while for randomly selecting a person. That requires coordination to select the right paid person(s) for the trick. I'm most impressed with this fact.

It was going around that he paid her to act as if she was his girlfriend. I think this came from Claudia herself but it's been awhile and I halfway paid attention to it. Google it for more info if you want.
 
I saw him in Vegas last labor day weekend and one trick he did he threw a sheet over a few pedestals(sp?) and then in a huge cloud of smoke a 1950something Thunderbird was sitting on top of them, running and everything :Q
