Just saw Blues Brothers again.....

...... on TBS. I've seen this movie ~15 times so I pretty much know the lines. It's a classic in my book.
Ofcourse some crack-head censor dumb-ass had destroyed the film.
Funny lines were edited out or changed. Example:

Jake and Elwood is recruiting 'Murph and the Magic Tones' back in the band. Jake calls their suits (yes they are ugly) 'Monkey suits'. Original comment: 'Candy ass Monkey suits'.

Jake and Elwood escaping the bands first gig at Bob's Country Bunker. Passing a hidden police car at high speed. Police mans comment: 'There's that screwball Dodge again'. Original comment '....shitbox Dodge...'

This goes on and on the whole movie. I taped it but it's no point in keeping that copy since it's destroyed.
WTF!! Leave our movies alone stupid 'who-ever-you-are'!!

It is terrible and morally reprehensible that someone would do that, however I'm certain the original version is still available.

What's worse is that there are many who would watch that as a true presentation of the original when in fact it's not.

They took out all the 'fscking' and 'fsck'. probably to change rating but WTH!!! It's part of the movie.

I was watching Scarface on TNT and I had to turn it off because all the censoring ruined it.

"Forget You..No Forget You you Cockroach" just doesn't have the same effect as the original (Replace Forget You with "Fsck You")

Geekin replaced F-in everytime. You can imagine how many times I heard Geekin

I was watching Scarface on the History Channel confused a few months ago and the editing made it comical. Seriously, there are just some movies you can't change and keep the original mood.

Funny enough, ABC showed Mallrats a few years ago (what were they thinking) and the editing made it even funnier. However, I think the whole movie ended up being about 45 minutes long....with commercials.
