I gotta say, it's a pretty fscking good movie! I'm definately not a hippy and definately not a redneck. I suggest you all should see it, explains a lot of things that now make sense IMO.
 
If that movie makes sense to you then you are not very bright. There is very little "truth" in the entire movie. Al Gore has never cared about the truth when it comes to his agenda. Read some of his books. The guy is way out in left field. He is a whacko.
 
I believe global warming is the most serious issue right now, but I don't listen to a word Al Gore says. What makes him a reputable source on this stuff? He's a politician, not a scientist.

Really? And what is his agenda? This movie is not BS, the overwhelming majority of scientists agree that people are contributing global warming.

Funny thing is 25 years ago the same people crying that Global Warming will destroy the workd were claiming the coming of the second Ice Age. They seem to understand very little about anything science related.

Like I said, 25-30 years ago the temps were lower than normal and all the agenda based scientists were screaming the coming of the second Ice Age. Were they wrong then?...or now? The global thermostat does not react like the one on your wall. It takes a while for corrective action to kick in. Get back to me in 20 years, let's just see what happens.

115 isn't uncommon for summer. When I was younger, I recall it getting about that hot (around 12 years ago). Last year it wasn't very warm here.

Actually, if you have seen the latest climate prediction models, they are forcasting a 50% chance of an ice age in europe within the next 100 years.

You seem to have a problem confusing facts with theories. No one is denying that the global temperatures are "trendint" towards higher at the moment but there is no ironclad proof as to any of the claims of the doomsayers. Wait 20 years and let's see, I bet you will be surprised.
