had an MSI K7N2
just got a replacement abit NF7

The system posts fine, but when it gets to the part, just before windows starts to load it just sits, never showing the windows xp load up screen.

Only hardware changes are 6800oc agp to 6600gt, don't have the 6800oc anymore to test..

Anything I may need to do or havnt checked?

Boot from the XP CD, go to the console and use the fixboot command. chkdsk /r/f wouldn't hurt either. fixMBR if that doesn't work, and a repair install last.
