😉

Now THATS in-game. Pretty cool looking, but not the best looking game I've seen.

Quite not bad for a PSTWO game huh? 🙂

Yes, good looking for a PS2, NOT a PS3.

God I hate when Fanboys twist what you say.

Didnt the makers of Killzone state that the trailer represented what they HOPE to accomplish with the title and even state that the game was real time but not gameplay? I swear this is the 100th rehash of a solved mystery.

They said that yeah. What you saw is maybe not the gameplay, but it doesnt mean its not the GAME ENGINE.

Remember Metal Gear Solid 2?First trailer got release, and nobody beleive it was the gameplay.Yop, was not the gameplay, but the scenes of the trailers were render with the GAME ENGINE

If we are going to see everything we saw in the trailer when playing Killzone 2?I dunno.I think we wont see the guys holding our guns, asking us to shoot , but you bet that the explosion and animation, are all from the game engine. So the programmers are right when they said they hope they can acccomplish that, cause the scene they render in what? 6 month i think? , is simply amazing.

Then it's not real-time GAMEPLAY then

Man, you fanboys are absurdly illogical when it comes to your fanatism.

Yep. Sony said it was real time several times though..haha.

The system isn't even made yet. Any game that they would show off with actual gameplay (which I only know of one game, some Gundam thing) would just be on dev kits.

And yeah, Sony did this last launch too...remember the Playstation 9 commercials? And every FF game commercial is just the cutscenes.

Its not real time

Until I see someone holding a controller, looking at a screen, and there are all the typical health bars and gauges, it's not real time

i love how there's no crosshair to aim with 🙂

It can be real time gameplay, i didnt say it wasent, they just create a scene that you cannot control anything.Doesnt mean tho they can't create a scene like that, with controllable caracter. They program the scene so the caracter look there and there at a specific time, it would have been hard for the programmer to time the exact time a "x" action, and then look directly at this action scequence so they can film it for the conference.

We have about a year to wait.

Im 100% sure its the game engine
im 50% sure we will see all these actions scene when playing the game.
im 100% we wont see that on xbox360 😉

Because game engine of games like Elder scroll obliveon,Everquest 2,Far Cry are really not far behind this engine.Texture are nothing extraordinary. What is impressing the most in the video, its the action scequence.Soo much action on the screen at the same time that its unfreakinbelivable.Iv seen better fire effects, the Ghost recon 3 building explosion look better than the ship that blow in the trailer.Caracter model are as good as what we are seeing today.

So yeah, it is the game engine,im just waiting to see if the game will really deliver soo much intensity when u play the game.

It's CG. Done by Axis Animation ( http://www.axisanimation.com/ ) as confirmed by a Killzone developer. Same studio did the CG cutscenes for the first killzone. And in interviews they've stated it was a representation of what they want the game to look like.

Next.
