UPDATE 10/5/05

well, i recieved everything else in my rig except the cpu component.
first off, my new keyboard which im typing, im not liking it very much...
prolly I need to get used to it since i been using a flat generic 1980 keyboard...
so the buttons here seems big and round
saitek executive with the led backlit.. looks awesome but the spacebar is annoying...

anyways.. I was now looking at the detail of the p180 case, once my CPU arrives, i will be taking pics of my step by step job in the cable managment wiring.
However, as of right now, just playing with the PSU and the case, I am intimidated.
PSU im using is Fortron 500w bluestorm.

I do need to ask, which way should I place the PSU?
the psu comes with a 120mm fan on it,
Fan up or Fan down when placing my psu into the case.

my cables are long enough, i think it is a bit TOO long though.

i was just thinking.... fedex comes at 10pm? wtf? I got my frozencpu delivery by fedex today at about noon, 10pm is a bit late no?

FedEx offers late hours for "Home Delivery" ground shipping option. 10PM is still really late, but for them to show up at 8pm or so isn't all to uncommon.

that's it, i'm ordering mine tomorrow ladies and gents.... prepare yourself.

how long have you been saying that? 😛

hurry up and order already I love mine!

I recieved earlier in the day, around 3pm.
however I had to leave and do other stuff.. so when I logged in here, I had to gloat with glee.

After 3 months of annoying the hell out of me, I finally sold my P180 last night. Big heavy plastic piece of junk. I'm going with another LianLi V series. Good luck with it... after you get your pc built i would not recommend taking the doors off a lot as they will end up breaking. who puts plastic tabs on case doors? Antec is the only one i have ever heard of dong this.

You are really bitter about this, aren't you? Why not start one of your own, and then you will feel better about it. Lie if you have to. 🙂
Tas.

alright... I just need a 480-500w PSU that will reach my Epox mobo.
any recommendation for those with expierence on a p180 case?

I assuming FSP Group (Fortron Source) AX500-A ATX12V 500W Power Supply - Retail is long enough?
just in case, any other choice a bit cheaper? would want to spend around 50-70 not $91.

are the stcok fans in the p180 good or should I change them all?
if so, pls link to what fans please.

Sounds like the plastic tabs broke the deal for ya. IMO the tabs are very sturdy...you must of really jerked at them....anyways, to bad you didn't like it...I think its superb case not without its flaws. Good luck with the Lian Li. I hear excellent things about them.

Place the fan either way....it won't make a difference as far as your psu is concerned...what will make a difference is where all the cables exit the psu housing. Install it which ever way maximizes the cabling to the holes created for the cables.
