All I can say is; Wow!

This tracks remarkably compared to my old Logitech Optical Mouse and it looks cool to boot. Only thing that bugs me is the fact I can't hit the scroll arrows that well.

I'm happy. 🙂

i was set on the mx700 until i tried a trackman wheel cordless. the trackballs will save your wrist from carpel tunnel and repetitive stress injuries. but you might lose your thumb.

I've got an IBM Optical Scrollpoint Pro. I like it. Only one auxillary button, but it's very ergonomic and has a nice light-up translucent scroll wheel with middle click.

Anybody knows how well MX700 works in Linux? I want a MX700, but it seems that I'll be working in a linux environment a lot. I don't expect all of the function keys to work.. although that'd be the best scenario...

I love mine, but for some reason it recently has started to drift on its own. For example you move the mouse up and stop, but the pointer keeps going up.

Any Ideas?

I'm pretty sure you can get it to work nicely in Linux, including all the extra buttons. But it might take a bit of work though..
