Just received my dual 2005fpw... what dual dvi card are you guys using?

I've been out of the loop for a while and have been using my AIW 9700 w/ a Matrox G450 PCI for a while. The dual is ok but the matrox card seems to have wierd lines on certain backgrounds that I cant see if it were hooked up to a regualar crt.

I want to upgrade to a dual dvi card and it seems like Nvidia is the only choice when it comes to agp. I've read about a problem where you cannot use the dual dvi features of the 6800 if both ur dvi resolution is over 1680x1050. Is this true?


I would love to get a AIW X800xt even though it has one vga slot. Does anyone know how the vga will look on the 2005fpw?


What card are you guys using? Thanks

as far as i know, 6800's don't have a problem doing dual DVI, but don't quote me on that...i love my XFX 6800 (dual DVI), even though i'm using it through a VGA adapter...

I think the problem occurred especially in XFX in digital mode... but I havent done that much research.. can anyone confirm this?

1) the problem was only reported on a 5700 and a 6800GT
2) that was a pretty long time ago...
