For those of you trying to figure out where to print panoramas, I can confirm that ezprints is a great option.

I made a 6" x 24" print for my friend, and from the few minutes that I examined it before giving it to him, here's what I can tell:

1. Paper is your typical photographic heavy Kodak paper. This is not your thin poster paper.

2. The print quality is very good and is nice and sharp from ~1-2ft + viewing distance provided the photo itself can sustain at least around 300 dpi.

3. If you try to "pixel peep" the photo it does get a little soft. I printed a title in very sharp font on the photo, and it (and the photo) doesn't look quite as sharp as if it were on a nice computer screen. The monitor is crisper looking at all normal viewing distances.

4. Colors are very accurate, but this is a function of the monitor.

5. I ordered on a Tuesday night. It was printed and shipped on Wednesday. It arrived via USPS Priority on Friday.

6. Shipping was $6, the print was $5, so overall it was $11. Not too bad IMO.

Yup, I have been very pleased with their quality and always recommend them. My problem is I like to take massive panoramics (~20+ picture) that are 6-9+ feet long at the 6" size so it gets expensive!

Uggg.... I used to do that. Super wide and super thin. I've since changed my shooting so that there's some width (height?) to my panos. I think people get bored looking at slivers of pictures :p
