Just ran AdWare and now having problems...

I just scanned the rig with AdWare and removed the files/proggs indicated by AdWare.
Now there is a problem with Win Media Player. It does not load anymore. Also the automatic filling of links when entered in IE doesn't work anymore.

What happened? Any system files that got lost by mistake?

I'm not sure if Windows 2000 has a SFC command, but if it does type it in at the Run prompt (SFC /scannow). That will check all your system files and make sure that they're okay. As for IE, just make sure that you have Autocomplete turned on (if you want it to be). To do that, go to Tools > Internet Options > Content Tab > Auto Complete (under Personal Information) and set where you would like Auto Complete turned on. Hope this helps.
