How bad is 1187? It sounds low to me ... I dunno if I'm remembering correctly, but aren't there people around here who score in the six and seven thousands? :Q

My specs...

VA-503+, K6-2/350@400, 96MB PC66@100-CAS3, 16MB PCI Banshee.

Your CPU is too slow. Put in a Pentium III or Ahtlon and watch that result go up and up. You should get around 2500 I think.

64 CPU 3DMarks
1187 3DMarks

8MB Texture rendering 59.9 fps
16MB Texture rendering 58.9 fps
32MB Texture rendering 56.0 fps
64MB Texture rendering Not enough memory
3-Pass Bump-mapping emboss - 59.7 fps
2-pass, 1-pass and environmental "not supported"
Windows 4 B (Win95b)

Highest polygon count is 1350 KTriangles/second, whatever that is.
Fill rate is 91.9 MTexels/second single-texturing, 91.8 multitexturing (I don't get it, banshee doesn't have multitexturing?).

Lowest FPS here is... 5.2 fps Game 1 - Helicopter, high detal.

🙁

lmao..

yeah it has no multi-texturing so it just uses single texturing in that test. sounds right for a 90mpix/sec banshee and k6-2!

I just thought I would remind you that the Banshee at a clock speed of 100MHz and therefore 100Mpixels per second. The Voodoo2 did 90MPixels @ 90MHz.

Theoretically, yes.

What, are you trying to imply that my Banshee is underclocked/inferior? :Q
