Just Purchased 4850 - Not a huge improvement? A bit suprised

512MB more than XP. But I have 8GB so meh. Who has less than 2GB these days?

Less stability is a lie. That's all there is to that.

Compatibility is an issue, but it's much lower now. There's a person in this forum who has installed over a hundred games on his Vista system just to demonstrate that it's not too bad an issue.

Legacy support is definitely true except it makes no sense to use Vista with an old system anyway. You should NOT upgrade to Vista unless your system is modern or new.
