I have bought a lot of stuff from Newegg in the past. However, I bought my latest upgrades from Monarch (A64 3200), Chumbo (6800 GT), and ZZF (A8N-SLI). Newegg was not competitive on price on any of the things I bought. At the time it would have cost me ~$200 more for those items from Newegg.

So I spent ~400 at newegg and ~1100 at zzf.

It was my first order with zzf, hopefully they ship in a decent amount of time so as to not tarnish their blank slate.
They'll most likely ship promptly; I made an order on a Thursday afternoon and it was at my house Monday morning (yesterday, as a matter of fact).

Bought a GA-K8NF-9, A64 3000+, 1 GB of Corsair Value (2x512), and a TruePower 480.

It used to be people would pay a little extra to buy from Newegg because they were one of very few reliable vendors. That has changed lately as there are now several highly regarded vendors to chose from.
But, you can really thank Newegg for that. They're excellent service/support caused other companies to drastically improve theirs in order to compete. In this case, the customer truly wins.

but for 3 dollars more I got Far Cry and HL2. I already have Far Cry, so I will sell one and now my combo cost me $10-20 less!

Monarch was a new one for me...just got my shipment notification tho. In fact, everything has shipped from all vendors...should be able to put this thing together on Friday. I think I'll leave work early!! ZZF has been very dependable over the last 2 years for me. Shipping time has always equalled newegg.

ZZF just pissed me off on my order. Placed it Sunday. Monday, I receive an e-mail telling me everything is shipped and a Fedex tracking number with a delivery date of Wednesday. Tonight at 6pm, I receive an e-mail noting that the motherboard I'd chosen is now out of stock and wouldn't be back until the 28th. I call to find out that, worse yet, they didn't send out my proc because of that delay, even though they weren't part of a combo. Kind of ridiculous.

ChiefValue (rebranded NewEgg) meanwhile verified my Bill To / Ship To using my phone number of all things. Turns out that I hadn't updated my phone number with my bank since I'd moved down to TX and got new phone service, so that delayed an additional two days as well. However, when asked to verify that everything was in stock (to avoid the issue with ZZF), the rep responded, "Sir, of course everything's there. We update the inventory as soon as we place the charge on your card so that's never an issue." <3 for ChiefValue, even though their credit card and shipping verification is a bit over the top.
