I can end a game in less than an hour even when I play some money map with a bunch of people who just bunker/cannon up

I have a crazy replay of just me taking on 2 protoss players with zerg. That went for just under 1 hour. BUT, I lost the fvcking thing when my hard drive crashed.

Man I rocked that game

Yea, usually money maps are really easy. I remember I once took on 5 people and won. It was 3v3 and I totally demolished the bottom team. Then the game wouldn't end and I realized I had two backstabbers on my team. I forgot what I did exactly, but I think I had dark templars and zerg hydras. They messed with the wrong guy to bs.

LOL it's great getting at backstabbers isn't it.

They always try some "haha just kidding, we were going to ally you!" thing if you get the better of them. And thats when you crush them. It sucks when they get you though.

I played a game a long time ago, 2v2 that I still remember. My ally was zerg, and not that good. I was toss, the two opponents were also toss. My teammates spotted one toss ramping up for a huge all or nothing zealot rush. He was expanding hard early, and leaving himself open. I rushed up the tech tree to get shuttles, loaded them with zealots and landed them in the back of his base, bypassing the cannons, just as his gateways were finishing the warp in. After I wiped his supply line and a couple zealots he dropped.

The other guy on the team asks if we will ally at end, I said sure and my teammate agreed because who cares? Well, I was a bit off from going hard for shuttles and my teammate wasn't to great...but I figured we still wouldn't have any trouble taking the last guy out. I was so wrong...he sent in this massive wave of dragoons and wiped us both out. The cool thing was he allied us both after winning with odds against him...class act that guy, and a real rarity on SC nowadays.

it's a 2v2 game, no one should ally

3v3 game, decided to play a money map. Big mistake. The game wouldn't ever end. Eventually two people dropped out (one on our side, one on the other). I was a protoss and my ally was a zerg. The other team were both protoss, but one of themmind controlled a zerg and had two armies. Held them off long enough with high templars and we must have had at least 60 minor skirmishes, along with about 5 large, all out ones. Eventually, I mind controlled a Zerg and a Terran and started building hydras and goliaths. Blue, the toss right under me decided to try at last ditch effort and sent dozens of carriers at my main base, but I destryed half of them with high templars and dragoons, then sent my hydras to finish them off. After this I attacked blue and killed him, then cornered the other toss and destroyed him as well. The game seemed like it didn't ever want to end. It was crazy. Forgot to save the replay though :(

How long was the longest starcraft game you ever played?

kthxbye

I've played a 5 hour game of C&C Red Alert 2 on a LAN. It was a 2 island map, and we got to a point very fast where it became obvious we were fighting a war of attrition.

The game ended when we blew a fuse, and the guy with the laptop was the last man standing :brokenheart:

3 hour ladder game, 'toss vs. 'toss. I ended up losing when I threw a good portion of my army at his base and the bastige was a really good micromanager, and had a bunch of templars.

I played a 2vs2 game of generals on a LAN for about 3 hours and had a blast.
