$242 after tax. educational discount - the best part is that they sell it at the bookstore and i can just charge it to my school bursar account, muahahahahaaha. :D

Ah, so you're the one who bought the new mini today at the store. Tompkins County Trust Co. kinda gave it away. I went over there late afternoon to try and catch a glimpse and noticed that one (out of four) was missing. I am the master detective, lol...

wow thats pretty small, from all the pictures it looked like a slimmer version of the regular ipod. when compared to the T610 phone thats tiny.

actually no, i don't have small hands. but you bring up a good point, the ACTUAL size of the two ipods aren't hugely different, but the overall effect of the smaller size is pretty amazing. the biggest contributor is most likely the reduction in weight.

maybe you don't have small hands...but you need to work on those arms. use the money you saved from your student discount to buy this: Truly Huge

Replace "arm" with "penis" in that whole page, and you got a winner.

Ahhh....I get it...big arms=small penis??

So clever indeed

so what's the difference between the mini and regular ipod (not specifications-wise, but functionally) -- minus the size, of course...?

the new anodized finish can be lubricated, and the new shape allows for easy insertion into the rectum. with the new bluetooth attachment (coming q2 2004) you can remotely initiate vibrating pulses in sync w/ your music for a completely new way to experience music.

don't know if anybody cares, but it seems as if the mini charges through the USB 2.0 slot as well as the firewire. (regular ipod doesn't do this.)

Not surprising since one of the USB pins provides power.

But not as much power as Firewire, which is why the original iPod couldn't USB charge. My guess is that the smaller drives finally allow Apple to USB charge.
