Just picked up Psychonauts and it's raping me

Just got the game in today (PC version) and it's the shyt so far. If you get it grab a gamepad to go with it, cuz using the keyboard would be gay. Anyways, I'm stuck on the obstacle course where you have to swing from pole to pole btwn the fire. What the hell do I do once I get to the top?

If you are having problems with the first level you might want to learn how to play computer games all over again.

Hmm, I never gave the game a chance since it looked so dumb, but seeing how lots of people like the game, I should probably give it a chance.

I tried the demo and actually liked it. Played with the keyboard though and it was kind of akward.
I'm a cheap bastard so I wait for games to hit the bargain bin

That is the same thing I thought about the game until I tried it.

Gave some life back to these types of games and shows you what can come out of something you though dead years ago.

I bought mine off Ebay for $14 shipped. Brand new but it's a Russian release, no box or manual. Installation was in Russian too, but the game is in English. There's a huge amount of controls, I'm not even sure how they fit all of it into an Xbox format. I've got a 10 button gamepad and it's still barely enough.

This game is great. But, it doesn't have much replayability and it's rather short. I beat it in a week and never looked back since. You don't unlock anything, even if you collect everything, so there's no point in playing it over again.

The graphics do look a little dated and qwerky, but you get over that. The levels in this game are simply ingenious and the game is worth it just to experience the levels alone. Considering the price, I don't regret purchasing this at all.
