Hello, I'm quite new to this forum; just registered in fact. I just ordered some hardware, and would like to get peoples opinions on the build. Any feedback would be quite appreciated, thank you very much.

I'm already using an Antec 900 case, Samsung 500gb 7200rpm hdd, and a Samsung DVD drive/burner

The parts I've ordered:

Newegg.com - Patriot Viper 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model PVT36G1600LLK - Desktop Memory

Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100284VXL Radeon HD 5750 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

Newegg.com - ZALMAN CNPS10X QUIET 120mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler - CPU Fans & Heatsinks

Newegg.com - Intel Core i7-920 Bloomfield 2.66GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops

Newegg.com - ASRock X58 Extreme LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

Newegg.com - Antec TPQ-850 850W Continuous Power ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC "compatible with Core i7/Core i5" Power Supply - Power Supplies

I know that the PSU is slight overkill, but i do intend on upgrading to a crossfire, possibly 5870 platform at some point.

Once again, any feedback would is greatly appreciated, and i'm looking forward to taking part in this site/forum, thanks.

That PSU is major overkill haha, a Corsair TX650/TX750 would have sufficed for a much, much lower price. Memory also seemed a bit pricey, as OCZ Gold has performed extremely well for a much lower price. With the money saved, could CFX or get a better graphics :) But nothing seems wrong with the build. Solid machine! What is it for, anyways ?

The way we roll in this forum is that the builder posts a thread with a list of the items they're thinking about ordering.
The builder also posts what type of tasks the PC will be used for, since hardware and software configurations are optimized for performing different tasks. .
At that time we post our suggestions as to what we would change, if anything.

Posting after ordering is usually a sign of either bragging or buyer's regret.

Either way, the case and PSU are a good start for an overclocked gaming system, and the 920 should overclock well with Zalman cooling. But the 5750 only mid-range, and could be "weak-sauce" if you are into high-res gaming. But as OP gives no indication of usage profile (apps/games) or monitor, our opinions aren't too well informed :)
