Comment: The new E8400 is a very impressive processor and the fact that it can be purchased for the same price as an E6750 is remarkable. Although the E8400 is clocked at 3.0GHz like the E6850, it will actually be replacing the E6750 at $183 US. The E6850 will be phased out by the E8500, while the E6550 will

I'm loving the scope of this proc, it may be known as the best bang for buck overclockable Dual Core cpu. I'm looking forward to buy this.

Yeah, I think Martin Luther King Day held everything up, because all my orders just sat in warehouses yesterday.

I doubt it delayed anything. Very few ecomm sites "shut down" or do not ship on this holiday, and both UPS and FedEx were both running regular schedules.

My E8400 from Mwave shipped out yesterday and should be delivered today.

Now if Newegg did not screw up my order for the memory & graphics card and shipped them yesterday like they should; I would be building my new computer tonight; now I have to wait until tomorrow. :|

well thyey had submitted it at the fedex drop off/shipping center on sunday so it probably sat in some room for MLK day.

I ordered my E8400 from mwave yesterday and I haven't gotten any shipping/processing info yet. Is it time for me to get on them about it?

Yeah, I got a confirmation email that the order was placed. I still haven't gotten a shipping notification yet.

I might just be too used to Newegg's fast shipping-- does mwave usually lag on their orders?

Turns out my order was lagging a bit because they needed authorization for the shipping address. It shipped out today...new computer this weekend here I come!

I needed to contact my credit card to have them authorize a shipping location that was different than the billing location.

I called the CC, set it up, and then emailed them back. Got a shipping notification a few hours later.

Mine theoretically went out Tuesday, got a tracking number at least.

Never got past this step with FedEX

Jan 22, 2008 7:29 PM Package data transmitted to FedEx

Was due on the 24th, and nothing came

Called FedEX, and they said that this means that the vendor printed a label, but never gave them a package.

After several calls today, they finally just told me that they will be shipping the package.

Great so, what happened to the rest of this week.

OK, im patient, we'll see if i have a new tracking number by Monday... if not this order is canceled.

nice ES samples you got there...

I know I said I wouldn't upgrade my computer until Nehalem comes out, but I changed my mind. I had 2GB of DDR2-667, so I spent the $40 to get an additional 2GB.. and yes, Vista Business-64 is faster with it. I also bought an E8400.. FedEx says it'll arrive Tuesday. 🙂 The E6300 will be going on eBay. I'm already using the P35 Neo2-FR board, so I'm all set.
