it has a pentium M 2.1ghz processor with 512DDR and a mobility 9700, what sort of fps would i be looking at with hl2, doom 3, ut2k4 and the new type of games? thx
 
very nice, only weak part i think is the 512 ram - for smooth hl2, & D3 1gb is pretty important
 
In my humble opinion gaming on laptops are retarded for gaming purposes. My formula I abide by is a good productivity laptop and a badass gaming rig. Either way, your dealie sounds pretty good. =)
 
ok cool, ill need to upgrade the ram then later on. im not into harcore gaming so will this thing run atleast any of those games at 1024x768 comfortably or am i lookin to down the res?
 
You should be able to run fine at 1024x768, although the image quality may not be as good, depending on the native resolution of your display.
