I was unsure of the RAM choice, I want to O/C but don't want to spend a ridiculous amount on overpriced DDR2. Never OC'd on a C2D platform before, but from what I understand I can run the RAM at speeds indepenadnt of FSB, is that correct? Anyways, what does everyone think of my choice of RAM?

Thsi will all be going into a Antec Solo case with 4x320gb seagate 7200.10 and a 150gb raptor for my boot drive. What HSF on that E6600 will fit in this case? Scythe Infinity (What fan should I pair that with)? Also can I get a suggestion on two quietish (NO LEDS) 120mm fans for the Solo? Will I have any trouble fitting the 8800gtx in this case? Eventually I'll also want to add a second, along with a physics processor if they ever take off...

Alright thanks in advance

Sweet specs, I'll be jealous until I can get my system pulled together

Enjoy it when you get it pulled together :)

I really hope you overclock the **** out of that system... as I see from AT's article on the 680i its a mad overclocker... couple that with a cpu who is also a mad overclocker... and some quality RAM... you can probably figure out the rest.

The Tuniq 120 is availble again. I guess if you want the best hsf that would be the one. Scythe, Thermalright, and Zalman have good ones too.

The only one that might not is the TT quad tower. My pick would be the Infinity. Try the Scythe fan before swapping.

Also can I get a suggestion on two quietish (NO LEDS) 120mm fans for the Solo?

Nexus 80, 90 and 120mm all the way.

Will I have any trouble fitting the 8800gtx in this case?

It will get tight near the hard drives, but it can be done.

BTW, you can suspend only 3 drives in the Solo, or mount 4 drives. 5 would need a 5 1/4 bay.

Eh, after seeing Jonny's review of the GameXStream PSU, I decided to go with the PC Power & Cooling 750W Silencer for my system (which is fairly similar to yours except I went with a standard P965 mobo as I'm a bit tired of nVidia's half-assed motherboard chipset releases (I've had an nForce 3 250GB and an nForce 4 Ultra)). Note that the remark doesn't refer to the renewed faith in overclocking.

Sweet system. I'm jealous. Enjoy it because you have a real high end rig.
