Nero won't work in Win2k now!! 🙁 Boooooooo hissss. I just downloaded nero, its the latest version, updated the firmware on my Plextor, and tried both DMA mode2 and PIO4 for my Plextor, still fails. I've even tried it at 4x and still fails. My burner is a plextor 8/4/32x IDE burner on an Abit KT7A-Raid with Tbird 1.1ghz, 256megs micron pc133, IBM 45gig 75gxp. It doesn't even start to write to the cd before it fails, so I don't know whats wrong...
 
maybe you need to update your aspi layer. there was a post about aspi yesterday... try searching for it.
 
Well the files I needed to update all of it were gone or whatever, so I got the other ones (the .dlls) and replaced the 2 I had. Still no help 🙁
