Wonder what else will go wrong today.

Woke up to go to class this morning and it is -10F with the wind chill. Since I am 5 miles off campus, my only option was to drive. Sure enough I get outside and I have a flat rear tire on the drivers side. No way in hell was I going to change it and drive on a donut in the weather we have (streets covered with snow and ice).

Unable to find a ride to class so I had to skip it. Even if I had put the donut on I would never have made it on time. So fast forward to 10am. Get to work since my girlfriend was able to give me a ride. Find out that I have to teach a class this afternoon to cover for someone.

Hope this class goes alright. Of course after work, I have to take care of this damn tire.

Sounds like me last week.

Thursday morning, Jan. 22, I go out to my car, brush snow off, and drive away. It's driving weird, so I stop, and find that my RF tire is flat. So, I put in a can of Fix-A-Flat, and speed home as air shoots out of the tire. I then change it for the donut.

Monday morning, Jan. 26, I go out to my car, and find that the RR tire is now flat. :| Since I'm already using the donut, I have to call a friend that has a spare Mustang wheel, complete with bald tire, and have him drop it off, so I can change yet another tire.

Now, I've had one flat tire in my entire life, and that was when I was driving my mom's van when I was 17. Now, 2 flat tires in 1 week? WTF?

And in case you were wondering, driving a Mustang in LOTS of snow with a donut on the front, a bald 14" tire on the rear, and two OK 15" tires on the left side makes for some interesting handling characteristics. Now I have to figure out WTF to do about it.
