Just moved to Seattle

OP here. I drove to Seattle today from Redmond. Took 520 West, drove through the city, saw a few things, then took 90 East back to Bellevue and then 405 to 520 to Redmond. Nice short drives. The traffic was quite light (except for 520 East in the opposite direction I was going). Is this typical for a weekend?

Another thing: Why are there so few modern rock stations? (e.g. U2, Foo Fighters, New Order, Brit pop, Sheryl Crow.) I've only found 107.7. In the CA Bay Area, there were at least five such stations.
 
nwsource.com has an event finder that's pretty great. What are your general interests? Summer theater in the park is going on right now, free.
