LOL! Where do you live? I've lived all over eastern/central Washington. (from Spokane) I worked at Hanford for 2 yrs when I was an apprentice. You're right, other than hunting/fishing, there's probably not a lot to do. If you're an outdoors-type, then there's lots of rivers and lakes, but culturally, watching the grass grow is about it without having to drive a long ways...

Haha, cashmere! There's really not a lot to do without going to spokane or seattle. It's too late to even hit the mountains, I think.

More like Spokompton. That place is depressing in a completely different way than all the po-dunk towns scattered throughout central/eastern WA.

Cashmere is directly in the center of the state. Closest towns are Wenatchee and leavenworth - which is the only thing i enjoy about this place so far.. leavenworth is a themed town. its themed after a german village. pretty cool to see.....once

Leavenworth is friggin 4-5 hours away from Seattle...

And while I was there, apparently someone in my family hurled and got sick at leavenworth from something...

Why would you move somewhere without first checking it out to make sure you'd be happy? I can tell by just looking at the website that it's not exactly a party town.

You could head over to Chelan. That's never really been interesting for me but all of my friends from Seattle love it. You could always pick some apples. Some of my friends will be doing that towards the end of the summer (they are apparently idiots).

BTW, quit your bitching. I lived in Okanogan for 10 years. At least Wenatchee is only a stone's throw away from you. That's nearly a two hour drive for me. Right now I'm waiting for Sunday to come so I can get back to Seattle.
