I've been a tax accountant for this firm for little over a year and they said they don't need my services and my last day is 4/15 (ironically).

I'm working on getting my masters in taxation but now that I?m out of a job, I kind of feel like I should try something completely new. I still plan on finishing my masters (half-way there). But with this economy am I just dead in the water?

I?m thinking of trying for the IRS seeing that they are hiring like mad.

Any thoughts would be great.
