just intalled my xp-90 need some feedback

Amd 640 3800 venice @ stock
Asrock dual sata2 939
1 gig pc3200 ddr400 samsung
evga 6800GS agp
80 gig IDE (temp)

i just installed xp-90 + nexus silent 92 mm fan , the fans run at like 1500 rpm
everest reports under load it runs up to 1700 rpm
i also applied AS5
a small drop the size of a rice grain in the middle
seated my heatsink and clipped in the clip things into the socket put the fan on

after running 3dmark05 my temps were at 44C load
after running prime95 for 5 min temps were at 48C

when i first booted up the pc right after installing the new hsf the temps were at 33C

now after 3dmark05 or prime95 temps are at 40C
hasnt really gone back to the 30's yet

is that normal?

for a second i thought that was still high but i figured since the fan spins only at 1.5k rpm that should be normal
i`ll buy a medium and highspeed fan later on but tnx for feedback
