OMG my PC is SO FAST now!!!!!!!!

IT'S SO FAST IT IS LITERALLY ANNOYING!!! I AM LITERALLY VERY ANNOYED BECAUSE IT IS RUNNING SO VERY FAST!! I THINK MAYBE IT IS BECAUSE I CANNOT THINK FAST ENOUGH?? I DUNNO I JUST KNOW IT IS SO FAST THAT IT IS ANNOYING ME!!! LOL!!! :):):)

It is going faster than I can even click! Like I install something, and literally before I can PRESS THE MOUSE KEY AGAIN, it is at the next screen!!

Now, it is probably even faster than for most people because my PC is very very fast, but I think that the Hard Drive was a SEVERE limitation, and upgrading to SSD allowed me to fully utilize the full potential of my new PC.

You sure your not tweakboy ?

Serious, not overreacting; it is SO FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The excitement will wear out pretty soon as you get accustomed to the speed. Then you want more. You can never have enough of it.

First time I installed a SSD was early 2009 or so when the X25 first came out. Bought it for a conference room laptop that gives presentations all day. It would bog down during updates, virus scans, etc. That machine still feels damn fast and is sporting the original X25 without trim running XP.

I'm sorry to quote this again and again but this is my favorite quote and thread of the day.

It makes me laugh and feel warm and fuzzy all over

I used to be in this horrible situation, and I couldn't take it anymore. I bought a 64GB Crucial C300 (I guess this was a while ago now), stuffed it into the case, and cloned the hard drive.

If/when the system goes back to IT (we don't upgrade often), I'll just plug in the old drive and they'll be none the wiser...

Now I just smile as my colleagues complain while they wait 30 seconds for Office apps to open (yes, our computers are REALLY old).
