Just Installed Win2k - Having problems with video card - Radeon VE

Well - I decided to reformat and get rid of WinME and install Win2k. Now - I was able to install the new Radeon drivers in WinME, but for some reason I can't in stall the new ones in Win2k. Also, in Quake Arena the screen shows up REALLY dark - and I get no change in teh image when I try to change the Brightness in Quake. What could be wrong?

Some easy things to check would be is the Win2K driver for the Radeon card the latest, is your BIOS up to date to work well with Win2K, and does the monitor listing in device manager list your specific monitor or a generic plug and pray one, maybe you need that monitor inf file as well. It sounds like if everything worked with ME then the hardware is OK but a driver isn't working quite right.
