I just installed my new ECS nforce3 board and Sempron 3100+ and I get no video on the screen. My heatsink fan is spiin and my green and red leds are on the case and neon case lights come on but my DVD burner and CD burner don't come on or eject. I don't have a system speaker so I can't here any beeps. I'm thinking it may be a power supply problem. I'm almost 100% sure I have everything connect right. I bought the new board and processor because my old board and Athlon 2200+ died last week and I took it to a PC maintenance place and they did a diagnostic and told me my mobo was gone and the processer. I heard a loud sound coming from it and it smelled funny when my old board died last week. Anyone have any suggestions to help me out because this is really upsetting me.. Please help...

Try clearing the bios. If I remember right when I got my ECS board it had the video card set to pci first and had to use a pci card first to get to the bios.

I did. Unless I did it wrong. I put the jumper on pins 2-3 and then moved it back to pins 1-2...:(

350 Watt but I really think and hope it might be a PSU issue. But, since my DVD burner, CD Burner, and floppy leds aren't coming on and the drives don't eject but, the case fan and HSF are spinning does that sound like a power supply issue to you guys?

Remove power to the HDD, CD's, and floppy and see if the vid works. Are you sure the vid is in there securely? Are you sure that the vid card is still working after your mobo pop?

Well, I tried an old Nvidia Vanta card and still nothing. I've tried just the power to the mobo and still get nothing on the monitor. I even went and got my PSU checked at a computer shop and they said it was good. Only thing left it could be is the mobo, processor, or RAM (which I haven't checked and have no way of getting any). So I got an RMA number and will be returning the combo. Also Outpost is sold out of the combo so I have to get a refund and I have no idea where I'm going to find a mobo and processor again for $90 :(...
