less light but more color, which is what some people want.
you can get the color with 4300k bulbs by using quality projectors. even then, you only get a small amount of color right at the cutoff (which is how it is in OEM applications).

uh, the SRT is not a rice machine. it puts down some serious number and is insanely tunable. kinda like the current cobalt SS turbo.

$60 is not going to buy you a decent HID kit. there's a reason it's so cheap.

did'nt say it wasn't, i just know i have 3 friends with them and the first thing they did was custom exhaust cause in our opinion it sounds rice.

But isn't cheap HID another aspect of rice? So in essence you're burning yourself?

please dont tell me you put hid bulbs in some crappy headlights not retrofitted for them. you're gonna glare everyone coming towards you

my car has projectors, in the JDM market the miata there was sold with HID's, i believe the only ones sold here in america for the NB miata with HID's was the Mazdaspeed but they are the same projectors in my car.

My cutoff is sharp, but I have a rough suspension which leads to a bunch of bumps and I sometimes have bouncing beams at everybody. My car is small they need to recognize me anyways 🙂

buy from ddmtuning... they have good hid's for low price, had mine for 6 months now... about $70 shipped from their california company.

>~5000k = fail
at least for a 35w kit

as swtethan said above, get a kit from ddm - good quality at a good price.

Douchebag, if you can't afford the real lights, don't put them in. The headlights that come with your car are setup specifically for that type of headlight. If you aren't going to install new projecters no reason to install.

I love my HID lights, but they came OEM with my car. Personally, I wouldn't put them in a car without the appropriate projector housings because you will probably get a ticket for having these improperly installed. I don't know what state you are in, but in MN it is >$100 for this type of infraction. I don't know what most projector housings cost, but factor this potential "expense" in the overall cost of the headlight upgrade.

Also, it's just plain dangerous to have these headlights on for other drivers without them being properly installed...

this is a double facepalm statement man. get an education on the proper way to do HID lights. you either spend the cash and do it right or dont do it at all

you're screwing yourself and other people driving by going cheap on HID's. they look tacky, they produce worse lighting and it blinds people facing you.

i hope you arent driving an accord because it just gives the rest of the people who drive one a bad rep, not that there arent tons of assholes out there who got cheap hid bulbs in non-projector housings already

shitty HID lights are the worst form of rice because it puts other people on the road in danger, in addition to making your ass look stupid
