Well i have the adfree version that i manged to obtain "from a friend". I like it because it has a built in mail system. And i like the mouse gestures alot. Also everything is customizable, you can move the buttons and add toolbars, remove toolbars. You can set it up however you want.

The mouse guestures being the way they are is a big thing for me- when I lost my Firefox profile (read: Firefox trashed it), I couldn't be bothered to go through installing all the damned extensions, reconfiguring the mouse guestures, etc etc. I just went back to Opera 7.51 which works like a charm 🙂

Ok, I'm no FF "pusher" and I'm not trying to persuade you to switch to FireFox or anything, but just in case anyone else is wondering:

1) Mozilla Suite has a built in mail-system, if you want. I personally don't see the point. Web Browsing and Email are two totally separate activities that I rarely need to combine into a single application.

2) There are a dozen or so Mouse Gestures extensions, some that imitate Opera exactly, if you want.

3) FF is as customizable as anything I've every used. You can add/remove toolbars, add/removes icons and shortcuts, etc. I don't think you can move the standard toolbar (File, Edit, etc), but that's not something I've ever wanted to do, personally. You *can* move the RL bar and search bar, which I have on the same bar as the standard, with the bookmarks and navigation toolbars together on the next one.

It doesn't appear that's there anything substantial that would make anyone switch from FF to Opera, unless it's just a matter of "feel" or something. But you do have to either pay for or pirate Opera to get rid the advertisements. *shrug*

I like Opera, even payed for it but FF has something REALLY big going for it, extensions.

I use all-in-one mouse gestures, adblock, and tabbrowser preferences.

It is part of my standard install.
