just installed a lite-on..... (settings?)

40x12x48x burner. Everything went smooth, but was wondering about the settings:

DMA on/off?
& disconnect on/off?

I looked thru the supplied manual but it doesn't mention these. The default has them both on, but I thought I recalled reading both should be disabled on a cd-recorder?

I use cdrwin, cdclone, and NERO

u can leave both on, BUt DMA must definately be on, or you will see a major cpu pulling when burning a CD...

as for the disconnect... it isn't neccessary but, you can leave that one on...

i got that same burner too, and i like it a lot 😀

i especially like having all those neat extras you get with plextors and tdks
