This just in on AFP (requires subscription so no link), surely will be picked up by others too.

South Korean paper "Chosun Ilbo" is writing, that US intelligence satellites have revealed 2 new underground missile bases, with at least 10 silos. These bases are 80% ready, and are suspected to be the home for the new missiles that have a range of over 4000 km.

If this is true, NKs strategic cababilities are taking a huge step...

Anyway, according to the Financial Times, North Korea is also offering to play nice:

North Korea, probably the world's most secretive and isolated nation, has offered an olive branch to the US by promising never to sell nuclear materials to terrorists, calling for Washington's friendship and saying it does not want to suffer the fate of Iraq...........

Too bad it's not the North Korean people Kim is offering to play nice with...

I wonder how many people will starve or be worked to death to pay for this construction. Poor North Koreans :frown:

I wonder if Kim Jong Il has a cat he puts in his lap and strokes while he comes up with diabolical plans in his undergound bunker?

Let's invade the country!

Why not? We aren't spread too thin, this is REAL COMMUNISM and this guy is a very bad person. Couldn't we pull 100,000 troops out of Iraq?

This war would be a COLD WARRIOR'S dream war.

Please, write your Congressman today and encourage him/her to get Bush moving on this very important agenda item.

S'funny, Bush doesn't seem to have a problem with civilians and soldiers dying for the neocon agenda. Besides, removing that fvcktard from power would do nothing to aid the US in trying to be less dependant on Saudi oil.

Justin:

So what? We don't care about Seoul, they already have democracy and freedom. I'm sure they'd understand....
