um get the 6200. its better than the 5200 fx, which i previously had. but note the 16b memoery, only up to 128 mb. the 5200 fx has always 128

The latter won't consume any system ram, which is rather nice. I don't know exactly how their performance stacks up, though.

The 6200TC, but if you haven't already ordered, you can probably get a genuine 6200 for not much more and attempt a softmod to 8-pipe.

ive already got the fx5200....i ordered the 6200...im wondering which to use once i get to windows, those are my only two options

I would suggest against getting a TurboCache Model. I would say just get the Full Blown 6200. I'm sure you'll have less disappointment and regret if you do.

i already ordered the TC and it should be here tomorrow

i think ill just run 3dmark with each and see which scores higher

well they will prolly be both pretty bad peformers but as long as you don't play any games made in the past year or so it will be fine

it really amazes me how some people will go and spend 300+ dollars on a CPU MoBo combo then are too broke to get a decent video card and are all mad because people tell them that there card is there problem. if you want to game factor in your videocard first then fill the rest of the system out as your budget allows.

you would of been much better off going with a semperon 3100 socket 754 setup then using the money you saved to get a 6600gt
